Have a question? We can help

Once you've paid for your Green Slip online, we send the details to Transport for NSW within an hour.

When you pay online, over the phone, or in a branch, it can take up to an hour for your payment details to be sent to Transport for NSW.

If, after an hour, Transport for NSW still hasn't received your Green Slip payment details, you can show them the Green Slip or payment receipt we sent you.

If you don't have either of those, you can call and ask us to re-send your details to Transport for NSW. Call 132 132 with your registration details handy.

Yes, if you want to pay for your Green Slip well before or after your registration's due, there are some extra things you have to do.

To pay for your Green Slip more than 42 days before your registration's due, call us on 132 132 or visit your nearest branch.

To pay for your Green Slip more than 3 months after your registration's due, first you need to get an 'original registration' from your nearest branch.

If you have a pension concession card and get free vehicle registration, your vehicle's registration may be eligible for automatic renewal.

You'll still need to renew your Green Slip, and you might have to have your vehicle inspected by a mechanic.
