I want to update my username or password

For policies in NSW, QLD, TAS and the ACT last renewed before 1 July 2024, or first purchased before 21 April 2024 and not yet renewed

To update your username or password:

  1. Log into your online account
  2. Select Contact details at the top of the page
  3. Select Change username/password
  4. Follow the prompts.

For all other policies

To update your username or password log into your online account. Once you’re in your account, go to Settings at the top of the page.

  • For your username – Go to Manage personal details and update your email address
  • For your password – Go to Manage security

I've forgotten my password or username

If you’ve forgotten your password, you can log in without a password by using a one-time-code login. Your username will be either your phone number or email address.

You can also reset your password.

I didn’t get my verification code or password reset email

You’ll normally get your verification code within 30 seconds. If the code doesn’t come through in this time, you can try sending another. If you end up getting 2 codes, use the most recent one as we’ll have cancelled the original code.

If you still haven’t received your code, you can either:

  • Log in using your password, or
  • Talk to us on web chat.

For password reset emails, check your email junk/spam folder if the email hasn’t come through after a few minutes.

My online account is locked

We may have locked your account for security reasons. This normally happens if you’ve tried to use the wrong password more than 3 times.

If this has happened, you can try again in 30 minutes.
