Fire, storm & flood
We cover your motorhome if it's been damaged by severe weather2.
New replacement
If your motorhome's written off in its first two years, we try to replace it with a similar new motorhome3.
Theft & vandalism
We cover your motorhome if it's stolen, vandalised or damaged.
Towing
We pay for towing to a repairer or safe place if your motorhome can’t be used after an incident we cover.
Emergency transport and accommodation
We will pay reasonable transport and accommodation costs,up to a maximum of $1,000, if you are more than 100 km from home and your Motorhome is damaged and cannot be used as a result of an incident we have agreed to cover.
Motorhome contents
We cover items that are permanently kept in your motorhome if they're damaged or stolen in an incident we cover (up to $1,000 per item and $2,000 total).
Food spoilage
We pay for spoiled food and prescription medicine if there's a power outage and your fridge stops working (up to $500).
Lock replacement
We'll replace your motorhome keys if they're lost or stolen (up to $1,000).
Emergency repairs
We pay for repairs you need to make after an incident we cover so that your motorhome's safe to drive or use (up to $800).
Incorrect fuel
If you accidentally put the wrong fuel in your motorhome, we will pay to remove the incompatible fuel and cover any damage the incompatible fuel caused.
There are some things we don't cover
Off-road use
Unless your motorhome is designed for it, we don't cover damage from driving off-road.
Wear and tear
We don't cover normal wear and tear that happens as you use your motorhome.
Hire vehicle costs
We don't cover running costs for your replacement vehicle like petrol, tolls or a GPS.
When you're getting a quote
No excess for glass damage
Add an option to avoid paying an excess when your windscreen, window glass or sunroof is the only thing damaged in a covered incident (let us know and we'll arrange the repairs).
Hire vehicle
Add an option to hire a replacement vehicle or use taxis if your motorhome can’t be driven after any incident we cover.
Motor burnout
Add cover for electric motor burnout in things like fridges and air conditioning units, including parts and labour4.

If you purchased your policy before 21 April 2024 and you either haven't renewed it yet or you last renewed it before 1 July 2024, your cover will be different to the cover described above. Yes. If you've told us your usual permanent home is your motorhome but now you can't live in it because of damage from a covered incident, we'll pay your reasonable temporary accommodation costs (up to $5,000).
If your motorhome is damaged in an incident we cover, we’ll pay to store it (and any trailer it was towing) until it's repaired or we settle your claim, whichever comes first. We'll also pay to move your motorhome and trailer from where it's stored to a repairer.
Before you agree to get your motorhome towed, you need to let us know and we have to agree to the cost of towing it.
Yes, we cover anyone who has your permission to use your motorhome1. An age excess will apply to anyone under 25 who drives or tows your motorhome.
Yes, we'll pay to repair your trailer if it's damaged in a covered incident while your motorhome was towing it (up to $1,000).
