From 31 October 2023, we’re no longer an authorised representative of TAL Direct in relation to NRMA Funeral Insurance. This means to talk to someone about an existing policy, you’ll need to contact TAL Direct.
If you already have an NRMA Funeral Insurance policy, this change doesn’t impact your cover.

From 31 October 2023, NRMA Funeral Insurance is no longer promoted by IAL Life Pty Limited ABN 15 137 509 936 (IAL Life), and IAL Life will no longer be an Authorised Representative of TAL Direct Pty Limited ABN 39 084 666 017 AFSL 243260 (TAL Direct). Instead, NRMA Funeral Insurance will be promoted by TAL Direct.
Funeral Insurance products are issued by TAL Life Limited ABN 70 050 109 450 AFSL 237848 (the insurer and TAL Life). TAL Direct has been authorised under an arrangement with the insurer to enter into, vary or cancel insurance cover on behalf of the insurer as if it were the insurer. The Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and Policy Document contain important information which will help you understand the product, including what's covered and what's not covered. IAL Life is remunerated by way of commission received from TAL Life for Funeral Insurance policies sold under the NRMA Insurance brand. For Funeral Insurance, the commission is up to 22.1% inclusive of GST of each premium paid while the policy is in force. This commission is included in the premium and there is no additional cost to you.
