Am I covered if my tenant defaults on their rent payments?

Yes, you're covered if your tenant stops paying rent or leaves without giving notice during the term of their rental agreement.

However, if you took out a new policy from 14 June 2020 to 17 April 2021, your policy won’t have rent default cover until your policy renews.
